Considering a new career in early childhood education? Join the Izzi Early Education Child Development Associate (CDA) Program!
The CDA program is like a FAST Track for new-hire employees. Instead of spending several semesters studying at a college and worrying about enrollment fees, CDA gives its students an opportunity to get certification in a short period of time at no cost. This program offers comprehensive coursework and pre-service training that enhance students’ knowledge and help them develop the skills necessary for the early education field. To me, joining the early education industry means that I can take part in raising future generations. The CDA® national credentialing program is a professional development opportunity for early educators working in a variety of settings with children ages birth to 5 years old and their families to demonstrate their knowledge, skills, and abilities in the early childhood education field. The program is designed to assess and credential early childhood education professionals using multiple sources of evidence, including an exam, observation, and a professional portfolio. By earning a CDA credential in any of the settings below, an educator demonstrates a commitment to career advancement and professionalism.
120 hours of training on child development topics
480 hours of classroom work experience
Prepare a CDA professional portfolio with all required documentation
